Oxygen Gas

(COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL GRADE)

Commercial Grade Oxygen generally have moderate purity level.
Primarily, it used in varied industrial purposes, eg. Gas cutting of heavy materials.

About Oxygen Gas

Chemical element Oxygen, having symbol "O" is a highly reactive non metal, and an oxidizing agent that readily forms oxides with most elements. We get Oxygen through the process of fractional distillation of liquid air in a cryogenic air separation unit; a process that separates liquid nitrogen from liquid oxygen.

Oxygen is widely used in various industries in varied applications. However, it is most commonly used for its highly reactive chemical property. Apart from this, Oxygen is used in scientific research, as oxidizing agent and in laboratory equipments. Apart from these industrial uses, oxygen also have various medical applications.

Purity Of Commercial Grade Oxygen Gas

This grade oxygen is the least pure oxygen compared to other grades of oxygen gas. The Oxygen content of commercial grade oxygen comprises of upto 99%. Though, it is widely used in the process of gas cutting, yet, it is not recommended for laboratory or medical purposes.

Industrial Application

USES AND APPLICATIONS OF OXYGEN GAS AND LIQUID OXYGEN BY INDUSTRY

  • Forging

FORGING FOR THE AEROSPACE & AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY

    Forging ahead, safely

Aircraft aren’t just built to fly. They’re made to carry people and materials safely around the world. So whether you’re building an aircraft to transport goods across the country or a commercial rocket to take people to the moon, our primary goal is to help you get them there safely. Two Star Gases’s forging applications can help you do that by supplying you with the tools to make the strongest metals possible for wherever your journey takes you.

Forging is a key application for the aerospace and aircraft industry because it eliminates internal voids and gas pockets that can weaken metal parts.

  • Direct Oxygen Injection

    DIRECT OXYGEN INJECTION

    Injecting productivity into your business

Inject your business with a low-cost solution that delivers chemical manufacturing flexibility and dramatically reduces harmful emissions. In direct injection applications, the oxygen is directly injected into the reactor, allowing you to target oxygen where it’s needed most. This reduces by-product formation in oxygen-starved areas of the reactor and increases chemical plant productivity. At Two Star Gases, we have commercial experience with direct oxygen injection to increase capacity in the chemical manufacturing of caprolactam, acrylonitrile, maleic anhydride and nitric acid.

  • Oxygen-Enhanced

OXYGEN-ENHANCED COMBUSTION FOR THE CHEMICALS INDUSTRY

    Doing more with less fuel

Looking for a way to reduce emissions and save fuel in your chemical manufacturing processes? Just add a little oxygen. When properly introduced into the combustion process, oxygen can increase the productivity of chemical process heaters and save fuel without increasing NOx emissions.

At Two Star Gases, we have pioneered the use of oxygen in many industrial combustion applications that can help you meet your financial and environmental goals. And because every customer has unique needs and requirements, our engineers will work with you to tailor our oxygen combustion technology to match your chemical manufacturing goals.

  • Oxygen-Enhanced Combustion

OXYGEN-ENHANCED COMBUSTION FOR GLASS MANUFACTURING & PRODUCTION

    Clearly cleaner

At Two Star Gases, we believe that the advancements we make in glass manufacturing and production today will pave the way for a more sustainable future. Our Dilute Oxygen Combustion (DOC) technology, which lowers emissions from glass furnaces by as much as 90%, is a huge step in the right direction. But we’re not stopping there. Our DOC technology has succeeded in maximizing energy efficiency, while dramatically reducing NOx and particulate emissions. And we continue to actively explore efficient and economical methods of heat recovery from off-gases to further propel today’s glass manufacturing process into the future.

  • Welding & Metal Fabrication

In stainless steel tube welding, nitrogen is used as a purge gas. It is also used as an assist gas for laser cutting and enhances plasma cutting.
