Nitrogen Gas

(COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL GRADE)

Commercial Grade Nitrogen generally have moderate purity level.
Primarily, it used in varied industrial purposes, eg. Application in Aluminium Furnace.

About Nitrogen Gas

Chemical element Nitrogen, having symbol "N" is a common element in atmosphere, which is colourless and odourless diatomic gas constituting 78% of earth’s atmosphere. We get Nitrogen through the process of fractional distillation of liquid air in a cryogenic air separation unit; a process that separates liquid nitrogen from liquid oxygen.

Nitrogen is widely used in various industries in varied applications. However, it is most commonly used for its low reactive chemical property. Apart from this, Nitrogen is used in scientific research, as carrier agent to displace oxygen to prevent oxidization and in laboratory equipments. Apart from these industrial uses, nitrogen could also be used as less expensive substitute of argon.

Purity Of Commercial Grade Nitrogen

This grade nitrogen is the least pure nitrogen compared to other grades of nitrogen gas. The Nitrogen content of commercial grade nitrogen comprises of 99.998%. Though, it is widely used in various processes, yet, it is not recommended for laboratory purposes.

Industrial Application

USES AND APPLICATIONS OF NITROGEN GAS AND LIQUID NITROGEN BY INDUSTRY

Aerospace & Aircraft

Essential to the aerospace & aircraft industry, nitrogen is used in high Reynolds number wind tunnels, heat treating furnaces and autoclaves to help create incredibly strong but lightweight materials. Nitrogen is also used as an assist gas for laser cutting applications.

  • Autoclave Inerting

AUTOCLAVE INERTING FOR THE AEROSPACE & AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY

    Lightweight material. Heavyweight strength.

Industrial autoclaves are pressure vessels used to process parts and materials that require exposure to elevated pressure and temperatures. The manufacturing of high-performance components from advanced composites often requires autoclave processing

High temperature autoclaves are used to cure laminar composites for aerospace applications, but carbon-based laminar composites produce an off gas during the curing process. Nitrogen provides a safe, inert atmosphere that will sweep off gases from the furnace. Our carefully designed nitrogen supply systems provide high flow and pressure to the autoclave, resulting in a better-made product for your aircraft.

  • Automotive & Transportation Equipment

Assembly plants, tier 1s and tier 2s use nitrogen in combination with other welding gases to weld auto parts, frames, mufflers and other components because of its ability to provide the necessary atmosphere needed to produce adequate welds with any material. It’s also an important safety component in airbags.

  • Parts Manufacturing

INDUSTRIAL GASES & APPLICATIONS FOR AUTO PARTS MANUFACTURING

Making quality vehicles from quality parts

Customers today expect more from their cars — more power, more safety, more comfort — and less maintenance. And atTwo Star Gases, we can help you exceed their expectations. Because when each auto part is manufactured well, your finished product delivers the perfect blend of engineering, safety and technology. AndTwo Star Gases gases can help you manufacture high quality parts for your automotive needs, from lighting and electronics to air bags and climate control.

  • Nitrogen Stripping & Recovery

NITROGEN STRIPPING & RECOVERY FOR THE CHEMICALS INDUSTRY

    Better chemicals. Pure and simple.

One of the most challenging aspects of chemical manufacturing is obtaining and maintaining purity in your process fluids. The presence of oxygen, moisture and other soluble contaminants can damage your end products and even your processing equipment. At Two Star Gases, we can offer a solution to this problem through a proven contaminant removal method called nitrogen stripping. Nitrogen stripping is a lucrative, inexpensive, value-adding processing step, applicable to a variety of chemical manufacturing operations. With our state-of-the-art nitrogen stripping systems and recovery technology, fluid contaminants are reduced to extremely low levels in a safe, controlled and cost-efficient manner. And our expertise in gas and liquid mixing makes us uniquely qualified to custom tailor a stripping system to match your precise purity requirements, fluid viscosity, operating conditions and process equipment.
