About Argon Gas
Chemical element Argon, having symbol "Ar" is one of the six naturally occuring noble gases. We get Argon through the process of fractional distillation of liquid air in a cryogenic air separation unit; a process that separates liquid nitrogen from argon and liquid oxygen.
Argon is widely used in various industries in varied applications. However, it is most commonly used for its Chemical property of inertness. Apart from this, Argon is used in scientific research, as preservative and in laboratory equipments. Argon is also used in TIG welding.
Purity of Ultra High Purity Grade (UHP Grade) Argon
This grade argon is highly pure argon, and in fact the highest as compared to other grades of argon gas. The Argon content of UHP Grade argon comprises of 99.9995%. It is highly recommended for laboratory purposes.
